So I was quite looking forward to seeing what the Moroccan designs would be like. Would they use a template? Would they make it up? Or did they have an extensive and historical knowledge of beautiful patterns for wedding henna

The color of henna is derived from the ground seeds of the henna plant… applying the paste to create the design is an art… one has to be very patient… and the henna has to be left on for at least 8 hours to get achieve the right color … … Thanks for all your kind comments. I plan to share a few more pictures of the wedding as well as the wild life in Kiawah. The color of henna gradually fades off in 3-4 weeks.
