I wasn't previously aware that henna possessed medicinal qualities and had always thought it was purely decorative. Knowing this now, it definitely seems like a better option than western tattooing methods which have none of these benefits. It's also a huge advantage that the ink is temporary; so many people regret their tattoos so a non permanent design seems like a much better option. People can spend thousands on laser surgery to remove a tattoo that was expensive enough in the first place and this treatment often leaves some sort of scarring.
